2018 Hyundai Santa Fe SE Sport Utility 4D

Description

The Everyday Adventure Vessel The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SE is for the Tacoma driver who needs a versatile, right-sized crossover that handles the chaos of family life and the unpredictability of the Pacific Northwest weather with equal grace. Positioned between small compacts and oversized 3-row haulers, the Santa Fe Sport gives you a commanding view of the road without feeling like you're piloting a bus. With 86,000 miles, this mid-size crossover has proven its long-term durability. Whether you're loading up gear for a weekend at Dash Point State Park or heading out for your morning commute down South Tacoma Way, it provides a quiet, composed ride that values your comfort above all else. Under the hood is a dependable 2.4L GDI 4-cylinder engine, delivering a well-balanced 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission featuring SHIFTRONIC® manual control, allowing you to select your own gears when navigating steep South Sound hills. This powertrain strikes a smart balance for a vehicle of this size, achieving up to 27 MPG on the highway. With its standard Drive Mode Select (Eco, Normal, and Sport), you can instantly recalibrate the steering and throttle response to match the rainy I-5 traffic or an open stretch of Highway 16. It's practical, too, offering a 2,000-lb towing capacity—just right for a light utility trailer or a jet ski. The SE (Sport) packaging is highly sought after because it wraps functional utility in a sharp, premium aesthetic. Inside, you are greeted by an exceptionally clever YES Essentials® premium cloth interior, which features an innovative anti-stain and anti-static treatment—a lifesaver if you're dealing with muddy hiking boots or spilled morning coffee. Tech is a breeze to use, highlighted by a multi-media display with a high-resolution rearview camera and Bluetooth® wireless streaming. Safety is where this crossover truly hangs its hat; the 2018 Santa Fe Sport earned a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the NHTSA and was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick, backed by an advanced airbag system, Downhill Brake Control, and Hillstart Assist Control to keep you rooted to the asphalt.
